A person was taken to a hospital after being seriously hurt in a crash Thursday morning, according Jacksonville Fire and Rescue.
The crash happened around 6:46 a.m. on Baymeadows Way at Philips Highway. All southbound lanes of Philips Highway are blocked at this time.
Drivers are asked to avoid the area.
