Crews rescue multiple cats from residential fire

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Putting out fires and rescuing cats is all in a day’s work for the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Crews were called out to a house fire on Julington Forest Drive Sunday afternoon. They worked to quickly put out the fire and rescue several felines along the way.

The Red Cross was also called for 2 adults.

An investigator has been requested to find the cause of the fire but there have been no reported injuries.
