JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The family of a young man who died in an industrial accident at Jacksonville Port Authority is preparing to honor his life.
There will be a wake for 18-year-old Timothy Middlebrooks, Junior Friday at 5 p.m at Funerals by T.S. Warden on North Main Street. To learn more, click here.

Police say Middlebrooks was killed on the job after he was hit by a 500-pound pallet of paper.
Action News Jax learned Middlebrooks was a third-generation longshoreman and a 2021 Raines graduate.
A family friend says he was also an honors student who leaves behind his parents and a brother.
