Free dental care being offered in Jacksonville on Friday and Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Floridians are able to get free dental care Friday and Saturday in downtown Jacksonville.

The event, hosted by the Florida Dental Association Foundation, is part of the 2021 Florida Mission of Mercy.

A total of 232 dentists from across the state are volunteering at the event.

People in need of dental care can come to the Prime Osborn Convention Center on a first-come first-served basis to receive the following services: cleanings, fillings, extractions, pediatric dentistry, root canal and a limited number of dentures and partials.

The event will take place until 6 p.m. Friday and will begin again Saturday from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
