JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Wine lovers, rejoice: The inaugural Jacksonville Food and Wine Festival will take place this Sunday under the Fuller Warren Bridge, 715 Riverside Avenue.

Attendees can sample more than 80 wines and more than a dozen of Jacksonville’s top restaurants and food trucks. The event will also feature more than 40 local vendors, live art installations and five of the area’s hottest bands.

Those who purchase a VIP ticket will enjoy one complimentary sample from each participating restaurant as well as wine tastings throughout the afternoon. Advanced VIP tickets are $70 in advance and $125 the day of the event.

Admission to the general public is free and guests can purchase food and beverage directly from restaurants.

Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Wagoner Foundation – a local nonprofit which supports the initiatives of Veteran’s Village of Northeast Florida, Fur Sisters, Women’s Center of Jacksonville, The Salvation Army, Vets 4 Vets, Vets on Tap, The Jacksonville Jaycees, The Women’s Army Corps Veterans Association, as well as numerous other local groups.
