JSO: Man found with gunshot wound dies in vehicle in Forest Trails neighborhood

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Jacksonville police found a man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 6700 block of Sandle Drive on Sunday. He was later pronounced deceased.

Police first responded to the area around 6:40 p.m. after residents reported hearing gunshots.

They found the man and the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department determined that he had died.

The man has not been identified and the incident is still under investigation.

There is no suspect information at this time.
