Man robs business in Regency, uses ‘BMX style’ bike to escape, Jacksonville police say

Jacksonville police seeking man who robbed business, left on BMX bike

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man who robbed a business in the Regency area and then rode away on a BMX bike.

JSO said the armed robbery happened on Sunday, Nov. 27 in the 9500 block of Regency Square Boulevard.

The man, who was captured on surveillance video, came into the business, demanded money and “brandished a black semi-automatic handgun on his waistband and threatened to use it,” JSO said.

He was then captured on surveillance video once again leaving the business on a “BMX style bicycle,” JSO said.
