NCIS raids home off Hodges Boulevard in Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) served a federal search warrant in Jacksonville Thursday.

The raid took place at a home on Bentwater Drive in a subdivision off Hodges Boulevard.

Neighbors told Action News Jax that the agents were in the neighborhood as early as 6:30 a.m.

They wrapped up their investigation just a little before noon.

Brennan Reed, who lives in the community, described what he saw.

“A man was dragged out and placed on the ground. They weren’t allowing in traffic to go through. But one of the neighbors posted on our neighborhood page that they witnessed a man being taken to the ground and apprehended,” Reed said.

He said it was shocking to see agents in the neighborhood and the incident does not represent the Bentwater community.
