Part of West Beaver Street blocked, building evacuated due to hazardous material leak

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Eastbound lanes of West Beaver Street near U.S. 301 are blocked due to a hazardous material leak.

A building affected by the leak is being evacuated, the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said.

JFRD is requesting that the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office shut down all of Beaver Street in that area.
