Photographer looking for Jacksonville brothers he took photo of hiking in Sedona with dad’s ashes

2 Jacksonville brothers hiking in Sedona with dad's ashes

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A photographer touring with country singer Luke Combs is looking for two Jacksonville brothers after a recent hiking trip in Sedona.

The two men were carrying an urn with their father’s ashes.

They told photographer, Kurt Ozan, it was their father’s dream to hike the Grand Canyon and visit Sedona, but he unfortunately didn’t make it.

Ozan captured some photos of the two out on a rock while hiking.

“It was just the most picturesque thing I’ve ever seen. All I had to do was just point and click and you know frame everything up,” Ozan said.

They were hiking Cathedral Rock. Ozan didn’t catch the brothers’ names, so he wants to reconnect with them and send them the photos he took—for them and their father. He posted the photo on Instagram and it’s going viral.

“So now I posted the photo on Instagram and a lot of people are sharing it, which has been really fun, and we’re trying to find the guy so I can hopefully send them a print for their house,” Ozan said.
