Reggie and Carol Sumner Reggie and Carol Sumner were kidnapped from their Jacksonville home, robbed and buried alive in Charlton County, Georgia, back in 2005.
Tiffany Cole Four people were convicted in the couple’s murder and three are on death row, including Tiffany Cole. On Aug. 23, 2023, a jury recommended life in prison for Cole.
Alan Wade Alan Wade is one of four people involved in kidnapping, robbing and murdering an elderly Jacksonville couple 17 years ago. In June 2022, a jury recommended life in prison for Wade.
Michael Jackson Michael Jackson also received a new trial. The Florida Supreme Court tossed out the death sentences because they were not unanimous. A jury recommended the death penalty for Jackson in May 2023.
Bruce Nixon A fourth suspect, Bruce Nixon, took a plea deal and is currently serving a 45-year prison sentence.
