Summer camp at Ed White High School abruptly closes because of COVID-19 case

The summer camp that was being provided at Ed White High School has abruptly closed.

“It has been brought to our attention that DCPS sites that have had a positive COVID-19 case in the last 14 days must close,” the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida stated in an email sent to parents Sunday night.

The camp’s last day was Friday.

“I know this announcement is extremely last minute, but we are getting this information from DCPS as of now,” the email stated.

Parents who may have additional questions are being asked to call the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida at 904-496-0694 ext. 453.

This week was supposed to be the last week for the camp.
