UPDATE: JSO says the male victim is 21-years old.
A 18-year-old woman is dead and another person is hurt after a double shooting in Hyde Park. It happened early Tuesday morning in the Wickshire Apartment Complex on Lane Ave.
JSO says someone fired a gun at a vehicle with two people inside. Both had to be taken to the hospital. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. A 21-year-old man is in the hospital, but expected to survive.
JSO doesn’t know how the two victims are connected, but says the woman lived in the apartment complex where the shooting happened.

Deputies found casings at the scene that they say indicate a rifle was used in the case. They feel it was a targeted attack, but don’t know exactly why. They say the think this was an isolated incident. They don’t have suspect information, but don’t think the general public is at risk.
Investigators are out looking for surveillance video and witnesses.
