PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE 8 AM: There is now only one outage, with an estimated four subscribers being impacted, according to the Clay Electric outage map.
Over 8,000 Clay Electric subscribers are without power Saturday morning, according to the Clay Electric outage map. Action News Jax is working to learn what has caused the outages.
In an automated message, Clay Electric says it is aware of the Putnam County-area outage, and that it is due to FDL experiencing widespread transmission outage. Power will be restored "as quickly as possible."
