Family and friends held a moving vigil following Sunday’s fatal crash that claimed the lives of four people.
More than 200 people sang “Amazing Grace” and lit candles in Booker Park Monday night.
Darikaa Word, 21 and her 1-year old son, Jaquez Johnson Jr., were killed in the crash.
The little boy’s father, Jaquez Johnson Sr. and a 4-year old girl, Forever Hightower, also died.

FHP said the family’s blue Kia crossed the center line of U.S. 17 for an unknown reason, causing a head-on crash between two vehicles.
Beverly Canty is the grandmother of Jaquez Johnson Sr. She said she recently saw the victims at a family gathering on Saturday.
“We celebrated one day, we cried the next day,” she said.
A fifth passenger in the family’s blue Kia survived.

Canty tells Action News Jax her 15-year-old grandson is in the hospital, having suffered several broken bones and head trauma.
She says he’ll need a lot of therapy from the emotional pain he’s endured as well.
“He saw his brother, his sister and his nephew take their last breath,” said Canty.
