JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The family of a woman hit and killed while walking to a Jewish temple is now suing the driver.
Esther Ohayon and her daughter were struck in the crosswalk on San Jose Boulevard in 2013 by Michael Fortunado.
The daughter, who was 16 at the time, was hurt but survived.
Fortunado pleaded no contest to careless driving and expired license charges.
