Interstate 295 shut down at Beach Blvd. completely after a fatality in the southbound lanes and a second crash northbound, troopers said.
Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to I-295 southbound at Beach at 10:21 a.m. for a fatality.
Troopers say a pedestrian was hit by a semi truck.

A second crash was reported in the northbound lanes of I-295.
FHP says a semi jackknifed and is blocking all northbound lanes. No injuries were reported.
Troopers are warning against rubbernecking as they work to clear both scenes.
Traffic alert....I295 north and Beach Blvd....multiple car accident including a semi truck that is now leaking fuel...the Hazmat Team is en route....expect delays and be careful of our crews.

Another crash is blocking I95 northbound at Bowden Road.
Injuries were reported in that crash.
