Fernandina Beach could be named Coastal Living magazine’s Happiest Seaside Town of 2017.
The 'North Florida charmer' was in second place on Tuesday night out of 10 contesting towns.
Coastal Living chose the finalists by the cities well-being index, percentage of clear and sunny days, healthiness of beaches and crime and standard of living, the website says.
Fernandina Beach and Sarasota are the only two Florida cities to make the final cut.
Hilton Head Island is the only other southeast town in the running.
