FERNANDINA BEACH, Fla. — The city of Fernandina Beach announced that the popular landmark, Peg Leg Pete, will be taken down for repairs.
The city is helping the Fernandina Pirates Club and the Historic Fernandina Beach Business Association make the repairs.
Pete should be back up for the annual Christmas tree lighting on Saturday, Nov. 30.
