Fire off Jammes Road leaves military family displaced

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A house fire off the Westside has left a military family displaced.

Just before 7 a.m., firefighters responded to a house fire in the 7000 block of Jammes Road.

The homeowner told JFRD that everyone was out of the house. JFRD says the fire may have started in the master bedroom, where the fireplace is located.

The Red Cross has been requested for an adult and a child.
