Travelers just got a new food option at the Jacksonville airport.
Firehouse Subs opened its Jacksonville International Airport location on Wednesday.
Firehouse Subs was founded by firemen in Jacksonville in 1994.
Before opening their first restaurant, Firehouse Subs founders Chris and Robin Sorensen served as firefighters with Aircraft and Rescue Firefighting at Jacksonville International, according to a press release.
