JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — RIGHT NOW: Waking up to the low to mid 70s with a mostly clear start to the day.

  • It is going to be *slightly* cooler today (not in the heat advisory criteria today). Temperatures will climb this afternoon to the low 90s.
  • Partly cloudy today with scattered late afternoon and evening thunderstorms. Best coverage will be through SE Georgia. Expect storms to build east/northeast through the afternoon and into the evening.
  • Sunday will be the drier day of the weekend. It will also be hotter with temperatures climbing to the mid 90s.
  • Only isolated afternoon storms through the end of the weekend and into the start of the week.
  • Our drier stretch comes to an end by Tuesday afternoon.
