JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — This morning is mild with temperatures in the 70s and partly cloudy skies. Roads are damp from yesterday’s rain that continued overnight in many areas.
- Highs will not be as warm today—mainly in the 80s—thanks to additional clouds and more rounds of rain.
- Showers and a few storms will stream onshore later this morning into the afternoon. Some rain will be heavy with gusty winds.
- Onshore winds will strengthen some this afternoon, increasing the rip current risk at our local coast.
- A few showers and storms continue the next few days, but plenty of dry hours will be in the mix.
- Temperatures will heat up by the end of the week with highs back in the lower to middle 90s.
