JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- A few isolated showers through Wed., with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the low 70s as higher humidity has returned.
- The coverage of showers will then gradually increase Thursday through Friday, but still plenty of dry hours with warm & humid highs between 85 & 90 degrees.
- Showers & a few t’storms will occur over the weekend as a cool front slowly moves toward the area. Highs will still reach well into the 80s.
- The wetter weather pattern will continue into early next week with the potential for several inches of rain from the weekend into early next week depending on the exact location of the slow-moving cool front.

Tropics:
- Nothing threatening the Lower 48 - (1) Tropical depression Fay is over the Central Atlantic – no threat to land. (2) Tropical storm Hanna is over the Central Atlantic – no threat to land. (3) Hurricane Polo moved into the Baja of California last night & is weakening. Hurricane Nolo is well south & west of Hawaii but catching the extreme western islands.
