JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Here’s what the First Alert Weather Team said you can expect for the forecast:
- Scattered showers & storms will end by early this evening with lows in the 70s.
- An isolated shower may occur Friday with a better chance for a few afternoon showers & t’storms as highs top out in the lower 90s.
- The best chance for showers & storms over the weekend will be inland as winds blow off the Atlantic. Highs will range from the 80s at the beaches to the low 90s inland.
- The Jags game Fri. evening will be partly cloudy with temps. in the 80s preceded by a few storms.

Tropics:
- Tracking: Tropical Storm Dolly has formed over the Central Atlantic but should weaken later Friday as the storm enters an area of strong wind shear. Dolly is expected to degenerate into a wave of low pressure (tropical disturbance) over the Caribbean by at least Sat./Sun. Some gusty rain squalls & rough seas & surf for Puerto Rico & nearby areas Sunday-Mon.
