- A few showers/downpours are likely east of I-95 for the morning commute.
- Scattered coastal showers will slowly move south and west through midday and into the afternoon.
- Locally heavy rainfall and a few lightning strikes are the primary threats.
- Highs today will reach the lower to mid 80s along the coast and mid to upper 80s well inland.
- Winds will pick up out of the northeast today near or before lunchtime.
- NE winds at 10-20 mph midday and into the afternoon
- Gusts of 25 - 30 mph likely along the immediate coastline.
- Rip current risk will be high starting this afternoon and evening and lingering through the weekend.
- Rough ocean and surf conditions setup tonight and into the weekend.
- A few coastal AM showers will be possible tomorrow through the day.
- Highs will be in the lower 80s tomorrow and into the weekend.
- Mornings drop to the 60s starting tomorrow well inland and on Friday for JAX Metro.
- Some inland 50s are possible over the weekend in the mornings.

- We will watch the far Eastern Atlantic over the next 24-48 hours for some possible development from a tropical wave moving off the West Coast of Africa today.
