First Coast Go Red for Women Luncheon held Friday

Action News Jax anchor Letisha Bereola hosted the 2018 First Coast Go Red for Women Luncheon on Friday.

The event raises money for the American Heart Association and their mission to fight heart disease and stroke. The organization has funded research that treats heart disease and prevents it from progressing.

"I'm very thankful for the research because I wouldn't be here without it," said survivor Jane Herndon. "The research is what does it."
