JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The City of Jacksonville will have five competitive axe throwers competing in the World Axe Throwing League's 2019 World Championship in Tucson, Arizona, from Friday, December 6, to Sunday, Dec. 8.

The event will also be featured on ESPN with the finals being broadcast live on Sunday, Dec. 8, on ESPN 2.

Class Axe Throwing Jacksonville will be represented by two throwers, Paul Cercy and Dennis Cejvanovic. The additional three competitors will be representing Jacksonville's only other axe house, Autobahn Axe. They are: Dustin Vaughan, Brandon Palmer and Patrick Scott. Paul Cercy is the General Manager at Class Axe Throwing and is a first-year competitive player, along with Patrick Scott who is an Axe Coach at Autobahn Axe Throwing.
