A 17-year-old Florida boy died when he dove from a cliff at a Marion County lime rock quarry, authorities said Tuesday.
Trey Austin Dagwan Cardoza, 17, of Largo, jumped into the quarry Monday on Gainesville Road in Ocala, deputies said.

The teen was found unresponsive in the quarry several hours after 13 people were arrested in a separate part of the quarry.
People continuously trespass on the property, the Marion County Sheriff's Office said. Just last month, three juveniles were arrested after they were caught swimming in the quarry and taking photos.

In May 2017, an 18-year-old man drowned in a rock quarry in a separate part of the county.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office says trespassers watch Internet videos of people cliff-diving into Florida rock quarries and try it themselves.
