The Florida Theatre was nominated for Theatre of the Year by the Academy of Country Music

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Country Music Awards released their nominations for this year and the Florida Theatre has been nominated for Theater of the Year.

This years awards will be hosted by Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks. The ACM will be streaming on Prime Video Thursday, May 11 at 8 p.m.


Northeast Florida garnered two venue nominations. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre was nominated in the Outdoor Venue of the Year category.

Awards are voted on by Academy of Country Music members, which boasts a record-high membership this year of nearly 5,000 members and serves as a powerhouse advocate for Country fans, artists, and all facets of the business.

The will be the 58th CMA and it will be hosted at the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.
