Jacksonville, FL. — The Florida Theatre is pleased to announce that the theatre’s famous “Ghost Seat” has returned.

The theatre has been in the process of refurbishing the seating, but knew they had two keep the famous “Ghost Seat”.

These seats were discovered when the show Local Haunts a paranormal investigation of the theatre.

The show captured images of a ghostly apparition of a man sitting in the balcony.

This attracted the interest of the SyFy Channel show Fact or Faked, who conducted their own paranormal investigation.

After the SyFy show conducted their own investigation they found it to be fake.

This past year the Theatre has decided to move forward with their plans to refurbish the Theatre with historically accurate seating, yet chose to keep the famous “Ghost Seat” .

“We did not want our ghost to be homeless if his or her seat went away permanently. They are the only two seats being restored. Every other seat is being replaced,” said Florida Theatre President Numa Saisselin.
