Colin Roberts says he found this envelope in a small palm tree.

“I was really nervous I was trying to find one of the officials, like, 'Oh God, I got to get to somebody, turn it in so I can cash it.'"

The developers of Slotomania, a popular online game, hosted the event and invited people to take part in trying to find the cash around the park.

“My mama always told me that you’ll never find money for free. Mama, you’re wrong,” said Emmanuel Oramas.

People searched under rocks, through the grass and even under a bridge for one of those hidden envelopes.

“In my mind, they already hid the money or something… so I got a hunch and then I got a scoop. I’m bound to win,” said Jermaina Bailey.

Katelynn Orme was the first to find an envelope.

“I didn’t expect to win because of all these people and I won out of everybody, so I was so happy about that,” said Orme -- and she tells us she knows exactly what she’s doing with the money."

"I'm paying my rent. I'm doing the responsible thing, I could blow it but I'm paying my rent with it.
Slotomania tells us they started these scavenger hunts as a way to pay it forward and they decided to hide cash in Jacksonville, Miami, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
