A local nonprofit is offering free laundry services for lower-income Jacksonville residents this weekend.
On Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., volunteers with the Laundry Project will provide the money and items necessarty to wash and dry clothes and linen.
The event will be held at the following Discount Coin Laundry locations:
- 26 E 9th St., Jacksonville, FL 32206
- 5552 Soutel Dr., Jacksonville, FL 32219
During the last project in Jacksonville, more than 450 loads were washed for 50 families, the nonprofit stated.
