CHRISTMAS, Fla. — Florida Fish and Wildlife officers responded to a call about a 9-foot anaconda near the Orange-Brevard County line Wednesday.
The officers euthanized the non-native snake that was found by an airboat operator before it could escape into the water, officials said.
It was found near Airboat Rides at Midway in Christmas.
