The HEAL organization is teaching children affected by autism how to ride waves this summer.
Thirty kids spent the day surfing under the Neptune Beach sun with the help of almost 100 volunteers and lifeguards. The annual camp creates a safe space on our North Florida coastline for the campers to learn the sport of surfing.
Other camps HEAL sponsors throughout the summer include golf camps, art camps and more. The organization helps children year round, providing service dogs, IPads for schools and so much more.
1 in 38 kids will be impacted by autism, which makes the need for support services vital to our North Florida community. The HEAL organization is dedicated to inspiring, educating and funding services for those affected by autism.
