JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Duval County voters can request vote-by-mail ballots for the 2026 General Election by phone or in person, Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland announced.
Voters seeking to receive a ballot by mail must submit their request to the elections office before the deadline on Oct. 22, 2026.
Any eligible registered voter in Duval County may request a vote-by-mail ballot for a single election or for all elections through the next general election. Under state regulations, vote-by-mail requests do not roll over indefinitely and must be renewed after each general election.
Requested ballots can be delivered to a voter’s legal residence, permanent mailing address or a temporary address. Election officials remind voters that mail-in ballots cannot be forwarded by the postal service.
To request a vote-by-mail ballot over the phone by calling 904-255-8683, voters must provide their full name, date of birth and current mailing address if it differs from their residential address.
Elector verification requires either a Florida driver’s license number, a Florida identification number or the last four digits of the voter’s Social Security number. Voters must also specify the specific election or elections for which they are requesting a ballot.
Voters may also pick up a vote-by-mail ballot in person at the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office, located at 105 E. Monroe St. in Jacksonville. Additional information regarding the General Election is available online at duvalelections.gov or by calling the elections office.
The deadline for the Duval County Supervisor of Elections Office to receive a request for a vote-by-mail ballot to be mailed for the General Election is 5 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026.
