Inaugural Lift & Lead Conference for Black male and Latino teachers happening this weekend

JACKSONVILLE, Fla — 1,000 Lift and Lead Conference is a a two-day conference for Black male and Latino educators, presented by the Jacksonville Jaguars Foundation with support from Equitable Advisors.

The conference is part of the initiative to recruit, support and retain 1,000 diverse male teachers by 2025. See more about the initiative here.

This Saturday, March 4, from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., come see 150 current and potential diverse male teachers from Duval and surrounding areas speak at this conference.

It will take place at at Tessie Ball DuPont Building, 40 East Adams St., and feature keynotes from Dr. James Ford, executive director of the Center for Racial Equity in Education.
