A Jacksonville man has been arrested after running from a stolen car loaded with drugs and paraphernalia to sell them during a traffic stop, while a second suspect is still on the loose.
Travis Brooks, and another man, ran from the car when he pulled into the driveway of a home in Lake Lucina Thursday morning. He was found hiding nearby.
Inside the car, police found 31 grams of powder cocaine, 18 ecstasy pills, 2.3 grams of crack cocaine and two bags containing 103 grams of marijuana. Brown had $1,201 of cash in his pocket when he was arrested.
Brooks, 26, is charged with trafficking cocaine in excess of 28 grams but less than 150 kilograms, distributing methamphetamine, theft of a motor vehicle, possession of over 20 grams of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia for delivering drugs, knowingly driving with a suspended license and resisting arrest.
He had just been put on probation for armed robbery on June 28.
