A man was shot and killed outside a home on Alvin Road, according to The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
The shooting occurred at the 9700 block of Alvin Road near Old Middleburg Road and Sandler Road.
Several people were at the home but police said the shooting happened after an argument outside the home.
JSO identified the man killed as Chadwick Mark Hoilman, 44.
Family said Hoilman was a father of two girls. He did not live on Alvin Road but has relatives who do.
JSO is looking for the suspect they say ran off on foot. He is described as a Hispanic man in his 30s.
Investigators canvassed the area and surrounding neighborhoods but were not able to locate him.
