Employee Muni Shirzai said the victim, who goes by Mr. Rick, has worked at the store for eight years.

“He’s always been helpful to customers, like really helpful. He stays out late because customers come late and pay their bills,” Shirzai said.

She said Mr. Rick is a hard worker.

“Always there for the business, for the customers. He’s working hard for his family,” Shirzai said.
