JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The beloved Jacksonville Riverwalk near the landing is open again.
Action News Jax told you when it was closed for repairs earlier in the week.
An Action News Jax viewer alerted us to Riverwalk bricks caving in after he tripped and fell while running.

"It's great!" said Renee Windorski. "I get to visit my daughter and we can walk on the Riverwalk again."
The city was unaware of the Riverwalk's holes until the Action News Jax investigation.
On Friday, the city completed the repairs, saying it's safe to use once again.
"Grateful, because I get to walk by the water and see this view without being worried about falling in because they fixed the bricks," said Windorski's daughter Faith, who is also visiting Jacksonville.
The city says it's not sure what caused the bricks to sink, but erosion may be to blame. It tells us city inspectors will continue monitoring the Riverwalk and surrounding areas.
