• Jacksonville Salvation Army to host Mike Buresh as chef at Celebrity Chefs Tasting Luncheon

    Action News Jax chief meteorologist Mike Buresh will be a celebrity chef at the 33rd Annual Celebrity Chefs Tasting and Luncheon hosted by the Northeast Florida Salvation Army on Thursday, April 4. 

    This annual luncheon is held at the Prime Osborn Convention Center every spring. Buresh will be one of 10 Jacksonville area celebrities handing out recipe samples. 


    Attendees get to taste a recipe from each station, where the local celebrity serves up a spoonful of their favorite recipe. In addition to the tasting, there will also be a silent auction that includes items such as artwork, collectibles, dinners, weekend getaways and much more. 

    You can purchase tickets for just $30. The ticket includes the tasting event, a silent auction and a cookbook containing the recipes featured at the tasting. Parking is free.
