JSO: Teenager shot in the head, suffers critical injuries in Grand Park area

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported a shooting where a teenager was shot in the head at 2208 West 21st St.

JSO reported that at around 7:06 p.m. Friday., officers responded to a reported shooting on 2208 West 21st Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located a juvenile male in his late teens with a gunshot wound to the head.

The victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries

Violent Crime Unit detectives and Crime Scene detectives responded to conduct further investigation, which is ongoing.

At this time, there is no suspect information and the circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown.
