Jaguars trade WR Laviska Shenault to Panthers for ‘undisclosed draft compensation’

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars have traded wide receiver Laviska Shenault to the Carolina Panthers.

The team confirmed the trade early Monday evening and was first reported by Ian Rapoport, National Insider for NFL Network and nfl.com.

According to a post on the Panthers’ website, they will send the Jaguars “undisclosed draft compensation to Jacksonville in exchange.”

Shenault, who played college football at Colorado, was selected by the Jaguars in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 42nd overall pick.

In free agency, the Jaguars beefed up its receiving corps, adding Zay Jones and Christian Kirk to the mix.
