JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said it was getting a fire at a Westside apartment complex under control Friday night.
Firefighters could see smoke in the rear of a two-story structure at 4207 Confederate Point Road, which is listed as The Preserve at Cedar River.
Earlier Friday night, firefighters responded to a house fire in Northwest Jacksonville. No one was hurt, but the home was destroyed.
