UPDATE: Ellen Jones has been located safely in Putnam County, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
Original: The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is currently looking for a missing and endangered woman and is asking for the community's assistance in locating her.
Ellen Dora Jones is a woman who is about 5'3", 110 pounds and has gray hazel eyes. She was seen wearing a pink flowered shirt and black pants, according to JSO.
Saturday morning officers responded to the 3000 block of Crossview Drive in reference to a missing 86-year-old female, according to JSO.
The woman was last seen leaving her residence on March 1, 2019 at around 11:00 a.m. after having a disagreement with her husband and has yet to return, JSO said.
JSO said the woman has been previously diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and is known to become disoriented regularly.
JSO said she was driving a White Toyota Prius 4 door with a Florida Tag “Y31 UGC”.
