The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office announced the man behind Saturday’s attack of a 13-year-old girl on 105th Street near Wesconnett Park has been arrested.
Police say the suspect was walking in the area the day after he committed the crime.
Alert neighbors saw a man who matched the description and notified police.
JSO says 39-year-old Bjorn Soyland is now charged with kidnapping and sexual battery after he grabbed a girl and dragged her into these woods as she screamed for help.

According to investigators, Soyland partially removed the victim’s clothing and committed a sex act.
Detectives said he was interrupted and ran off.
Soyland was caught when alert neighbors saw him walking by the same spot where he attacked the girl the next day.
Soyland appeared in court Monday morning and was denied bond.
