Oakleaf, Fla. — This is not the best part of waking up.
Jacksonville police found themselves rushing to the Oakleaf Plaza Town Center this morning after a suspicious package was discovered behind Target.
Out of an abundance of caution, police said Target and neighboring PetSmart were evacuated.
The emergency call came in around 7:30 a.m. with the caller reporting to investigators they found a strange device, a 2-liter bottle with a foaming brown liquid inside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO).
Investigators told Action New Jax the liquid was tested by JSO’s Hazardous Devices Unit and the results came back as....
Coffee.
JSO tell us they are still investigating the origin of the item.
