JTB resurfacing project | Where and when to expect road work

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Resurfacing work is scheduled to begin next week on J. Turner Butler Boulevard (State Road 202) from Belfort Road to Hodges Boulevard, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.

Slated to start Monday, the project includes milling and resurfacing, base work, shoulder treatment, drainage improvements, highway signing, guardrail installation, bridge construction and other work, FDOT said.

No lane closures will be permitted from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday; 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Preferred Materials is handling the $14.2 million project, which is expected to be completed by late 2027.
