LAKE CITY, Fla. — Lake City Police responded to a reported robbery at the Day Inn in U.S. Highway 441 North.
When officers arrived, they were told a black male that was wearing a blue shirt with a t-shirt around his head and a dusk mask on his face approached the counter asking if there was a room available.

Then the suspect placed a note pad on the counter with a written note saying he had a firearm and he demands money from the cash drawer.
The clerk complied and gave him the money. No one was hurt.
He left the business in a gray Toyota Rav 4 on U.S. 441.
On April 17, the suspect was arrested then later identified as Erien Jo’Ell Davis.
